I finished 'I.N. Socolescu' High-school on an architecture profile and I'm currently studying architecture at Spiru Haret University.
I had 3 exhibitions within 'The circle of photography and graphics' from high-school.
In 2009, I had my first exhibition as an individual with my own theme and concept, the exhibition also included my sister Raluca Porumbacu, Andreea Retinchi, Andreea Iancu, Dimitri Caceaune, Iulian Dumitrescu - young and promising artists I worked with.
I recently finished the "Introduction in contemporary fashion design", "Sewing techniques", "Fashion History" and Art History" courses, held by the fashion designer Adrian Oianu.
A fashion design isn't just a drawing, it's art! Every detail counts and I work hard to give it a meaning. I use my heart when I draw and that is what I think a true designer does. Inspiration comes from everywhere. Movies, magazines, paintings, history, theater, books...
... or sometimes you just pass it by and it hits you! It doesn't always end up the way you imagined it, but maybe it was meant to look different, it could be better than your original idea. Every person has unique tastes and styles like every drawer has his own concepts.
